Not too sure about this. I cleared Ascalon and Regent Valley and the only mobs that dropped shards were grawl and thorns. Killed 10 billion hulking stone elementals and they never dropped one. Maybe just odd luck . . .

Orr emblems can be traded, 3 for 1 in LA. Ican farm the hell out of the undead as a monk.. soj up, and run through, they take 100 dmg every time they attack, hell hounds take 188 dmg heh. So,g o farm undead all you monks.. especially the low hitpoint monks, 55 anyone?

Yep, Gates of Kryta is very easy indeed. I'm working on my second stack of 250 Canes now, I think these things will be worth alot to the ones that ran out/never had them after the update, so a stack of 250 will be worth quite something. Tough, I think I'll just keep them

Anyone know if they drop from griffons in augury?
IMO griffs are easier to solo than crap that spawns around ascalon as you can quickly be surrounded by pure melee within minutes.

i agree. i spent over 400k on making 4 of those axes, and then they just took the upgrades right out of 'em. i completely agree with thundergod. they should have left the axe in circulation.

Is there a chance that they won't work anymore after the holidays? Anyway, pretty useful stuff, although I got only 18 so far.

If you fell for it that they'd leave the item in game, too bad. Personally I made a little cash out of it, nothing extreme, but enough to finish my armor (didnt have 15k plate boots, was wearing Knights. I feel so lame) and fix up my armor with the right runes and such.
